Students in all classes were assigned a short essay (1 - 2 paragraphs) about what would make a good President.
Some students completed this work in class... those that did not must complete it for homework and turn it in at the beginning of our next class period.

Treats for the Troops

The G.I.V.E. Community Service club is sponsoring our annual Treats for the Troops drive from this week through February 14th.
...
The drive collects care-package items to send to our troops overseas... such as hard candy, beef jerky, ground coffee, tea bags, hygiene products (toothpaste, deodorant, disposable razors, lotion etc.), new or gently used paperback books and magazines, travel-sized games, batteries, puzzle books etc.
...
To support the Treats for the Troops drive I am holding a contest in my classes. The class period to bring the most items for the drive will win a prize!

HISTORY homework

All classes received their 1st homework of Quarter 3 on Thursday January 26th. (Due Friday January 27th)
... the homework asked students to evaluate their responsibilities as citizens by choosing what they believe to be the most important one and explaining their choice.

1. WHO IS MOSTLY TO BLAME FOR THE THE DEATHS OF ROMEO AND JULIET? YOU WILL WRITE A MULTIPLE PARAGRAPH ESSAY DEFENDING AND PROVING YOUR CHOICE. YOU WILL USE WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE'S TEXT FOR YOUR SOURCE OF FACTS AND PROVE. YOU SHOULD QUOTE ACTUAL LINES. YOU WILL PREPARE A BRAINSTORM AND A ROUGH DRAFT FOR THIS QUESTION.
