New books for Indie Reading

Let It Snow. John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle. "An ill-timed storm on Christmas Eve buries the residents of gracetown under multiple feet of snow and causes quite a bit of chaos. One brave soul ventures out into the storm from her stranded train and sets off a chain of events that will change quite a few lives. Over the next three days one girl takes a risky shortcut with an adoable stranger, three friends set out to win a race to the Waffle House, and the fate of a teacup pg falls into the hands of a lovesick barista."

It's Kind of a Funny Story. Ned Vizzini. HowTo Be Bad (A Novel). Lauren Myracle, Sarah Mlynowski, and E. Lockhart. "Vicks is the wild child whose boyfriend has gone suspiciously quiet since he left for college; Mel is the newcomer desparate to be liked; Jsse will do anything to be liked. Each one has her own reason for wanbting to get out of their nowheresville town, even just even for the weekend. So they climb into mom's 'borrowed' station wagon and head south. A ridiculously hot stranger could change the course of everything."

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. Rachel Cohn & David Levithan. "Nick's just seen the girl who dumped him walk in with a new guy. What else can he do but ask the straznge girl next to him to be his girlfriend for thenext five minutes? What else can Norah do but answer Nick's question by making out with him.
