CLASS ONE: homework due Tuesday--make sure you have your binders, journals, and Indie reading book by Tuesday. also: Read "Redwoods" #2. Using your "Narrative Rubric," grade the essay. Remember you must explain the scores you give.

CLASSES TWO AND THREE: select a prompt that you would like to respond to--any one, your choice. then brainstorm ideas for that prompt. Brainstorm for at least five minutes (just a list, web, whatever form you usually work with). Bring that brainstorming to class. you'll work with a partner and begin to write a multi-paragraph essay.

CLASS FOUR: no written assignment. make sure you bring your indie reading stuff.
