Class One: This is like a RAFT writing assignment:
ROLE: you are a director putting on the play Romeo and Juliet
AUDIENCE: your audience are your actors playing Romeo, Benvolio, and Mercutio.
FORMAT: Your format is a prompt book that you are creating for Act 2, Scene 1.
TOPIC: You tell actors whereto enter from, where to exit to, how to move about the stage, gestures, how to speak (slowly, loudly, passionately, etc. You must also create a sketch of the stage to trace the actor's movements. position any props that you decide you need. The text will provide all the information you need for props.

CLASSES TWO, FIVE, and SIX: revise your Act 2, scene 2 RAFT assignment. Remember to purge any modern language and replace it with Shakespearean vocab and structure. Your goal is to demonstrate your understanding of Act , scene 2.
