CLASS THREE: READ ACT FIVE. COME PREPARED TO DISCUSS THE FINAL ACT.

CLASS FOUR: QUIZ ON ACTS 1, 2, 3.

CLASS SIX: ACT FOUR JIG SAW PRESENTATIONS.

AMANDA: YOU ARE TO READ ACT FOUR AND THEN RETELL IT USING THE RETELL RUBRIC. ALSO YOU ARE TO SELECT THE MOST IMPORTANT LINE IN ACT FOUR, IDENTIFY THE SPEAKER AND THE AUDIENCE. PUT THE LINE OR LINES IN YOUR OWN WORDS AND EXPLAIN WHY THAT/THOSE LINE(S) IS/ARE IMPORTANT TO THE TEXT. THEN YOU ARE TO SELECT THREE TO FIVE EXAMPLES OF FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE (SIMILES, METAPHORS, PUNS, IRONY, ETC.) AND EXPLAIN THEIR SIGNIFICANCE.
