PERIOD 1 - Study for Quiz. Topics include: adding and subtracting integers and rational numbers, absolute value, comparing rational numbers. You will not be able to use a calculator.
Tip: The best way to study is to try the problems again from class and from the homework. Write them on a separate sheet of paper and try them as if it was a quiz. Then check your answers. If you get any incorrect, go back and check your work. You should do this without a calculator since you cannot use one on Monday.
PERIOD 2 - No Homework. Benchmark Pre-Assessment is Monday, so bring a pencil and caluclator with you to class.
PERIOD 3 - Study for Quiz. Topics include: solving equations, manipulating literal equations, direct variation, proportion, some word problems. See the Tip for studying under PERIOD 1 for suggestions on how to study (you will be able to use a calculator).
PERIOD 4 - Finish puzzle worksheet if you did not finish in class Thursday. Benchmark Pre-Assessment is Monday, so bring a pencil and calculator with you to class.
REMINDER TO PERIOD 1 AND PERIOD 3: Benchmark Pre-Assessment is Tuesday. Be sure to have a pencil and calculator for class.
