Creating your own Federalist Paper! (Or Anti-Federalist Paper)
You are Federalists (or you choose to be could be an Anti-Federalists) in 1787 … the year the Constitution had been written! You want to convince the American public to agree with you that the US Constitution should (or should not) be ratified…
STEP 1:
List at least 4 reasons that you feel the Constitution should be ratified (Don’t mention the Bill of Rights, because it didn’t exist yet) … or, if you prefer to take on the role of an Anti-Federalist, at least 4 reasons that you feel the Constitution (before the addition of the Bill Of Rights) should not be ratified
STEP 2:
Use the reasons you just developed and write a newspaper editorial (an editorial is a newspaper article that expresses an opinion) that will convince readers to agree with you! (It should be 1 to 2 pages)
