History - Project Alert! ~ Citizens rights/responsibilities

Rights & Responsibilities of US Citizens
Students in all classes are currently working on a simple poster project designed to familiarize them with the rights and responsibilities of citizens (as well as the differences between political rights, social rights, and responsibilities)
-
Students were asked to appoint one person per group to bring in Poster board/poster paper... DUE Tue. February 5th.
-
-
For any of you that have forgotten the important definitions for this project...
-
- Citizenship: is the set of rights/responsibilities of a US Citizen (person who was born or naturalized in the United States)
-
- A Right: is something that your government allows you to do, or a way that your government protects you...
---- A Political Right: is any right that allows you to take part in your government
---- A Social right: is any right that affects you personally but does not pertain to government
-
- A Responsibility (of a US Citizen): is something that you should (need to) or could (choose to) do to be a good and effective US citizen.
