Class One: finish vcocab word mapping. I suggest either www.dictionary.com or www.webster's.com . In a pinch you could also "google" each word.

Class Two: Read Act 4, scenes 1 and 2.

Class Five: Read Act 4, scenes 1 and 2.

Class Six: For Friday-Reread Act 4, scenes 1 and 2. You will then write two one-paragraph essays (8-11 sentences per paragraph) for each scene.

• For scene 1, select Paris, the Friar, or Juliet and write a paragraph describing what

you think your character's subtext is during this meeting.

• For scene 2, select either Juliet or her father, and write a paragraph describing what you

think your character's subtext is during this meeting.

Remember to double space your paragraphs.
